Who is the Pastor ?
Pastor Michael & Angela Vargas
Pastor Michael Vargas and his wife Angela Vargas bring a wealth of experience in both education and ministry. With over 22 years in Ministry and in the pipe welding industry, Pastor Vargas is an Ordained Minister with The United Pentecostal Church International, Pastor Vargas graduated from Bible College in 2014 with a Bachelor's in Ministerial Training, Theology, Leadership, Historical Teachings of Christianity, he is also a Certified Welding Inspector and Educator, while Sister Angela, a College graduate, she also holds a Bachelor's Degree in secular and Bible College at this time she has transitioned into High School education, teaching English and Spanish., both Pastor and Sister Vargas continue studies in Apostolic Theology, and Apologetics while deepening their knowledge of Apostolic History, Church Leadership, and more. T Their family continues to serve in various leadership and ministry roles, making a positive impact in their community.
Community Development
Doing What’s Needed
Currently The Jesus Church partnered with UPCI organization has started multiple ministries. C.M.I. Campus Ministry was started in 2022 and is currently being led by Brother Michael Vargas, Jr &
Horacio Pereira - CMI Campus Leaders, Sunday School Teachers & Youth Leaders. The Jesus Church also has a P7 Club that was started in 2021 and is still currently active. It is being led by Brother Mykah Vargas-Music Director, and Brother Matthias Vargas - Media Coordinator/Musician. Prayer meetings are held every Monday via Zoom. The Jesus Church also started a Prison Ministry in 2022 outreaching, Preaching, & Teaching inside of the Florida Prisons. Pastor Vargas is partnered with the Community Faith Base Coalition with the office of Governer Ron DeSantis, UPCI Prison Ministries, the T.U.M.I. Program.
Every Wednesday Night at 7 pm we have weekly Bible Studies. If you are ready to grow in your knowledge of the Bible, then this is the Church for you.
